We are looking for a SQL Developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
You will also work with other developers optimizing SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future, development of new products and features as well as maintenance and support of existing products and features.

What are you going to do:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL (MS SQL Server)
  • Design logical database that is well normalized and performant
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Improve performance tuning by investigating and troubleshooting bottlenecks and implement corrective measures
  • Collaborate with application developers to ensure that applications are able to perform CRUD operations efficiently
  • Work with architects and business analysts to identify and document software requirements
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting SQL jobs
  • Create detailed technical specifications from which software solutions will be written

What we are looking for:

  • Microsoft SQL Server (5+ years)
  • Working knowledge of N-Tier architecture
  • A comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, application design, functional design, technical characteristics of relational databases and client server systems
  • Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
  • Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
  • Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
  • Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
