Head of IT
We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of IT. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT department and driving innovation initiatives to enhance our technological capabilities and support our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement innovative solutions that optimize processes, improve efficiencies, and drive digital transformation.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals and objectives
- Lead the team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the effective delivery of IT services and solutions
- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for business growth and operational excellence
- Manage the portfolio of innovation initiatives, define the governance structure & deliver the expected outcomes in the agreed time & budget.
- Drive the profitability associated with the managed area and has responsibilities in building the yearly budget for IT & innovation portfolio.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop technology roadmaps for internal systems that align with strategic priorities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide systems, applications, and infrastructure to support business operations
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data through effective governance, risk management, and compliance practices
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the IT department and across the organization
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring the selection and engagement of reliable technology partners
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT, ensuring compliance and adherence to data privacy and security regulations
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on IT performance, project updates, and key metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations and driving innovation in a complex organization
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
- Experience in managing enterprise-wide systems, applications, and infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, business leaders, and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions
- Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in driving digital transformation and implementing innovative solutions is preferred
