Performance Test Engineer

What are you going to do:

  • Flag down potential performance issues during the development process
  • Provide technical assistance and advice to ensure smooth system performance
  • Design effective tests to check system performance and stability
  • Work actively with non-functional requirements for performance
  • Work with performance testing tools based on the company’s needs
  • Run tests to validate Load, Scalability, Stability, or Reliability standards
  • Analyze test results and provide appropriate solutions
  • Find the root cause of performance issues and suggest solutions
  • Oversee system performance lifecycle
  • Create performance reports for review

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the performance area of testing
  • Strong communication skills (very good written/spoken English skills are a must)
  • Proven hands-on record in performance testing (capacity, load, volume, stress, scalability, endurance or soak testing approaches) in areas of business, application layer, and infrastructure
  • Experience with performance tooling (WebLoad, ApacheJMeter, StressSimulus, K6io, SmartMeter, Gatling, SoapUI etc..)
  • Above-average self-organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in performance techniques and programming
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines
  • The ability to track and write articulate reports on technical assessments
  • Able to work in a fast-changing environment as well as perform routine tasks
  • Experience with project and scaled agile approaches
