What are you going to do:
- Build e-commerce applications;
- Customize Magento’s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates;
- Author and extend Magento extensions;
- Develop custom PHP solutions and maintain existing code; Actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness, and functionality of customized systems;
- Contribute to the conception, development, and delivery of custom projects;
- Write robust, elegant and efficient code;
- Collaborate with team members (and other departments where applicable) to pro-actively enrich the development of the projects;
- Produce documentation (including technical specifications, setup guidance and user instructions where required);
- Adhere to established development processes, procedures, and standards;
- Complete assigned tasks on time and spec;
- Carry out regular, relevant research and share findings/insights across the team.
What we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience in Magento / Magento 2 (not just themes, module development, and advance level customizations and performance tuning);
- Understanding of Magento’s code structure, extension architecture, theme hierarchy, and fallback components;
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery;
- Good understanding of MVC frameworks, LAMP Stack;
- Database experience with MySQL, Postgres or MS SQL;
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Application Development and Design;
- Familiar with Git.
- Fluent English is a must
Bonus points for:
- Good knowledge of Vue.JS.;
- Experience working in full-stack delivery teams.
